Lily the Photographer

Lily loves to take pictures with the camera and then asks me to take some of her.  Here are some.  Caution: This is a photo dump.

School Projects

We've had some school projects that we wanted to record digitally so we could recycle them:).

Lincoln did a Habitat poster on the North American Forest.  He also did a report on the Shawnee tribe where he had to show 3 things about how they lived in a model.

Rachel did her first science fair project on kids perception of how much sugar was in foods and how a different label might help that perception.  Joe helped Rachel a lot.  I helped at the end.  The kids wanted a picture with the board and later I realized this was very fitting because the whole family was effected by the time required on this project:).

Saturday Morning Excitement

Most Saturday mornings Joe plays basketball.  When he gets home he always makes Gatorade.  This is very exciting to my children who seldom get sugary drinks.  As soon as they hear the garage door open when Joe gets home they rush to get the bottles and Gatorade.

Birthdays

Dora Birthday Party
Lily finally figured out birthdays this year and was very excited to have a Dora birthday party and a Dora cake.  We even had cousins here to help her celebrate.

I played Dora.  Swiper the Fox(Joe) came and swiped the pinata and I prepared a map for them to help them find the pinata.

Christmas with Family

We were excited to have Christmas with 3 of my sisters and their families.  The Ganbats drove up from Texas, the Nashville Bakers drove up, and Deanna lives a mile away.  It was a full house and a lot of fun.

Poor Hannah had her tonsils taken out on the 23rd and was pretty miserable.  We felt bad for her.
On Christmas Day we did a Christmas devotional talking about the gift we would give to the Savior and then did a service project where we tied a quilt for the refugees.  I like the feeling that service gives to Christmas.

Early December

The kids always love the Keeneland Christmas party for kids.  The girls' favorite part is the face painting.  Lily even wanted in on it this year.  She's painfully shy with new people.  It was funny to see her trying not to look in the eyes of the woman painting her face.

Family Pictures

Deanna took our family pictures, and every other picture.  She's nice to do this for us and she's very talented.  We were behind on birthday pictures and we're finally caught up!
