Visitors

I didn't realize I had forgotten to post the pictures from when we met Laura and family at Mammouth Caves on Martin Luther King Day(Free!  Hiooooo!)

 Visitor Center

An historic train surrounded by an gate with a broken door.  Bon Voyage!

 Laura and Nancy

It was nice to meet up with the Baker family for the day.  It was especially nice that we're close enough to do that.

Valentine's Day

2014 Valentines Day...Not to be confused with every other year where we do the same thing:).

 The Heart Shaped Pizza Tradition

Frosting sugar cookies.  I actually made good sugar cookies this year and I ate half the batch I think.

My Valentine
Joe and I decided to split who was in charge of anniversary and who was in charge of Valentine's Day.  I was in charge of Valentines Day.  After the kids went to bed we watched a new movie and had candle light home made french apple pie and sparkling cider.  I also heart attacked (a lot of paper hearts) him.  All the hearts had things the kids and I love about Joe written on them.  What the kids wrote was sweet.   Lincoln loves when Joe plays the Wii with him.  Hannah loves when Joe tickles her.  Rachel loves the bumble bee song that Joe sings to her at night.

Joe's a good dad.  He pays a lot of attention to making sure he spends quality time with the children and does lots of things they love with them, even though they're not very fun for him.

He's a great husband too.  The picture is of him making another crazy project for me and letting the kids "help him."

Snowed In

We've had lots of snow days and bitter cold.  We were happy when it warmed up a little bit so we could go sledding.

Thanks to the un-identified person who left their two-seater sled.  All we had was swimming inner-tubes:).

Lily looked about like this the whole time, even when we took her down the hill.  I guess she found her happy place.

Rachel and one of her favorite friends, Emily.
