Good-bye Old Friend

This is my trusty old stroller.  I got it right after Lincoln was born and have put many, many miles on it.  It has been my sanity...until Lily's recent hair pulling, biting, and hitting phase.  She has been torturing Hannah during the run, making it miserable for all.  Because of this I had to say good-bye to my old friend and say hello...

to my new best friend.  This stroller has more of a separator and the separate hoods act as a shield for Hannah.  Woo Hoo!!!!

Neigh!

Lily loves horses.  I have the most beautiful running route that just Lily and I went on today because Hannah was at dance.  Lily yelled at the horses to come to her so she could pet them.  When they came and let her, she yelled at them to get away.

A Lily Style Breakfast

I call Lily's morning breakfast routine, "The Feed."  She gets very excited by breakfast and likes to have it all laid out in front of her.  It's a little tricky making the big kids' lunches for school because I have to open the fridge and block the contents with one leg to prevent Lily from going crazy.  This day she chose yogurt, oatmeal, and poppy seed chicken and rice for breakfast.

Lockheed Family Fun Night

We love Joe's work's Family Nun Night.  They have fun bounce houses, bungee trampoline things, zip lines, rock wall, food and snacks.  I think the most exciting part for cheap skates like us is that it's all free!  They also had fireworks at the end.  Firework in the fall are awesome because they are at 8pm instead of 10pm in the summer.  I can handle that.
Hannah climbed the rock wall, but her favorite thing was the zip line.  She's brave.

Hannah in the sack race.  She actually won! She got a pink soccer ball.

Fun Dad

Joe's good to play with the kids.

Camping trip in the back yard.  I held down the fort inside...on a bed...warm:)

Rachel's Baptism

My oldest child being baptized makes for a sentimental mommy.

Grandma and Grandpa Lunt came.  Grandpa Lunt spoke on the Holy Ghost

Grandma and Grandpa Danielson were able to come as well.  They presented their famous "Bear" baptism talk that Rachel was excited about.

Rachel's awesome CTR7 teacher Sis. Holbein.

Bro. Parker and Gran.  (Rachel's adopted Grandparents.)
Our good friends the Tete's were able to come.

It was a sweet baptism and confirmation.  We were so glad we could share it with the people we love.  In Rachel's confirmation it talked about how Rachel loved to serve others and that service would help her feel the spirit.  Rachel is a sweet girl who tries so hard to choose the right.  I'm so glad she's my daughter.

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Hannah turned 4!

All the kids look forward to the non-exotic breakfast in bed.

Rachel paid or half of this and got the Anna doll.  Hannah got Elsa.

Lincoln really wanted us to wake him up but he lacked enthusiasm.

Hannah loves to touch cheaks.  She does it to me all day and it often makes my toes curl.

The Tete's came to celebrate Hannah's real birthday with us.  They got her this beautiful dress.

They also surprised us by bringing this beautiful, colorful cake.

We saw that color frosting die twice if you know what I mean.

Hannah is a sweet, very funny girl.  She loves to touch cheeks and be a huggy and kissy monster.  She LOVES to play with Rachel.  The other day Lincoln asked Hannah what her favorite movie was.  She said, "The same as Rachel's."  Lincoln said, "Which one is that?"  Hannah said, "I haven't asked her yet."

Happy 8th Birthday Rachel!

Rachel wanted a Daisy Meadow's Fairy Party since she loves the books.

 Don't judge...I was Queen Titania.

I started them on their quest to graduate and become true jewel fairies.

 Don't eat the Jewel.

Crafting.  We decorated the loot bags and and made jewel necklaces.  Lincoln is Rachel's best friend so we had to think of a way to include him.  He was a wizard:).

 Jewel Ring-Pop Cup Cakes.

Good times.  We loved planning the party.  Maybe I like it a little too much for a grown woman:).  Those who were wondering, we still managed to include all the standard party outline, although it was not pictured (pinata, pin the _____ on the _________, etc.)

Breakfast in Bed...or on the ground:).

Utah Vacation Part 2

Our second family reunion was for Joe's side.  It started with hiking the Y.  It was a pretty intense hike but the kids all finished it.

Hannah taking a break with the older girls who are used to sea level elevation:)

Joe was good to carry Lily the whole way.  I was Hannah's hiking buddy.  She did a good job but I had to hold her and run down the mountain because she had to use the restroom.  Hard work.

Another event was the Heber Kreeper.  It's pretty much riding an old train but they make it fun with fiddlers, sing-a-longs, and dancing.
Ready to ride

This is their "Go Cougars!" pose.  They used their money to buy BYU shirts and were pretty excited.

Groovin' on the Train.

The next day was in Salt Lake.  It was really special to do it around Pioneer Day.  We saw the Joseph Smith movie and did the Church History Museum.  We are so grateful for the sacrifice of those pioneers.  It makes me realize I need to sacrifice more.
 Practicing feeding the missionaries.

Making rag pioneer dolls.  I loved at this table how Hannah just blurted out to the worker.  You're beautiful!  What a nice happy girl.

Showing off the dolls with Lily practicing photo bombing.

Look at me with my hair down.  It's not even left over from Sunday:).

I thought it was sweet that the first thing Hannah did when we saw the Christus was to feel the prints in his feet.

I realize this picture is blurry but I think it's important to include this picture because this was most of Lily's vacation.  During the museum she rode the three flights of escalator, over and over and over...

This is what Lily needed more of .  She collapsed in the van.  Right before this picture Lily had a sucker stuck to her mouth while she was asleep.

Rag dolls that the girls made at the church history museum.

We love the Talent Shows.
Rachel did a back walkover for her talent.

Joe helped Lincoln to a magic trick for the Danielson reunion.  Lincoln made up his own trick for my reunion.  It was hilarious.  We luckily took video.

We also had lots of good dinners at the park thanks to Mom and Dad Danielson and BYU catering.
This was a beautiful park in Provo Canyon.

Joe loves to get a good game of soccer going.

Rachel and Maddox had a lot of fun together throughout the vacation.

A favorite free time activity was the pool at the hotel.
  The prestigious 4 man tower.
