Joe's side job
We're getting a fence! Yea! Joe comes home from work and diligently works on the fence most nights. He's definitely ready for the fence to be done.

Easter
Our festivities started at Grandma and Grandpa's house a week early. The kids and I went up to IL while Joe helped with tornado relief. The kids dyed Easter eggs and then hunted them. My family was good to play with them. We had fun.
Our next festivity was the neighborhood Easter egg hunt the day before Easter. The kids got a total of five eggs which I tried to prep them for so they wouldn't be upset. The exciting part was at the end when they gave away door prizes. There were a ton of kids and somehow Rachel and Lincoln each won one. Yea!
We follow my family's tradition of not doing the Easter egg hunt on Sunday to keep Easter about Jesus. I had a marvelous idea this year of doing it on Monday instead of the Saturday before so I could get discounted candy. I believe this all stemmed from my cheap Lunt roots:)

Happiness
I've been a little frustrated this past week, but the other night I looked out the window and I saw that I had all the happiness that anyone could ask for-a good husband and father and three good kids.

Hi!
Hannah loves to say hi! No matter where we are, if she sees someone she'll walk right up to them with a big smile and wave her chubby fingers at them. She'll do it over and over until the other person gets sick of it. I'm glad she's so happy and so good at making others happy.

Momentous Occasion
I felt like I should write about a big thing that happened. I had to take all three of my kids shopping for clothes, which normally ends up with us leaving early and getting nothing accomplished because of meltdowns. For the first time we had a successful trip!!!!

Snow Day!
Friday we had a big tornado threat, which ended up not even being a big storm. Our hearts go out to the people who were effected by the tornadoes. We were surprised after last weekend to wake up to 6 inches of snow and a snow day.

I Heart Valentine's Day
We had our traditional romantic Valentine's Day heart shaped pizza to start the night off right.
ps- If you look close you will see that Rachel's hair was french braided in the shape of a heart. I got a little fancy this morning.

Later we opened some little presents and Joe and Hannah's were aprons I made. Hannah was pretty excited. An apron isn't something a girl should have to share. And doesn't Joe look handsome? I didn't want him to feel left out:).
We commemorated the new aprons by making Valentine's Cookies.
Happy Valentine's Day!
