Visitors

Hannah talking to the horse...they respond better to eye contact:)
This was the most playful horse.  He kept tapping his foot and nodding to get the kids' attention.
Joe's parents went on a cross country trip visiting all their kids and grandkids after their recent release from their mission in Guatemala.  We failed to get a picture with them, but while they were here we visited the horses at Keeneland.  We're so glad they came to visit.  It was a lot of fun.

*Side note-We just talked to our friend who went to a horse psychology class and found out that meant the horse was scared.  I misread that one:)

Funny Face

You might not be able to tell, but this is Hannah's funny face.  Whenever you ask her to make her funny face, this is it.  It looks a lot like her ticked off face.  The funniest part of this face is all the kids think it's hilarious.

Princesses on Ice

All the ladies in our family got dressed up for Disney Princesses on Ice.  You might not be able to tell I got dressed up but my hair isn't in a pony tail so that's big.

Rachel was happy a lot of her friends were there.
The girls really enjoyed it.  I was worried about Lily but she did really well.  Lincoln and Joe had a man night and went to get ice cream.

No front teeth

Rachel finally lost her other front tooth!  This tooth had been knocked a lot and was dead and recessing so we are glad it's finally out.  After Rachel's first traumatic tooth pulling experience she's decided just to wiggle them until they practically drop out of her mouth.

Conference Weekend

We enjoyed conference weekend.  I printed out some conference packets for the kids.  Their favorite was the conference crowns.

I thought this picture was funny of Hannah.

Lily was obviously disturbed that she didn't get a crown...Maybe next year.

Lincoln's Quarter Chart

Rachel and Lincoln have been sharing Rachel's skates for a while, so we decided it was time for Lincoln to earn his own.

Lincoln finally earned his awesome rollar skates.

First words when we opened the long awaited skates box, "Cool...Bubble wrap!"

The happy skaters

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's

I'm catching up with the blog...We made the last minute decision to go spend time at my parents during Rachel's spring break.  It turns out that worked well because my parents decided to move to Salt Lake and we won't be as close anymore:(
We've started doing our egg hunts the day after Easter so we got to do it at Grandma's.

Hannah had to search in every crack and corner, but found all the eggs.

Lily loved holding Grandma.  I enjoyed letting someone else hold Lily.

My Project
My sewing machine is broken so I usually have a project each time I see my mom so I can use her sewing machine.  I've been working on decorating Hannah's room.  Last time she came we (mostly she) made the bedskirt.  When I went there I altered the pillow shams.
Before(from the site)
After(The pillows aren't staged as well as the website picture, but trust me...they're a lot cuter!)
