Lily's Funny

Lily has an interesting, funny, intense personality.  Lily didn't know that I was in the room and I caught her thinking out loud.  She was looking at this picture from Joe's conference and slowly said, with sad consignation, "Oh Dada...him bigger than you."  I don't know why that was so funny to me but I'm pretty sure Joe is sick of me repeating it:).

Family History Mystery

We've been doing this "Family History Mystery" that was given us.  I think it's from "The Friend."  I tried to make it fun for the kids by playing "Mission Impossible" music for the beginning and dressing up.  After that they've been excited taking turns being the stealthy detective.  It's pretty funny.

The top picture is when we "discovered" heirlooms.  We had to take the picture for our "evidence."

Dress ups

Whitney loves dress ups.  It's fun.  As a side note, Rachel has been such a wonderful older sister and daughter.  She helps so much with Whitney and Whitney will often prefer Rachel.  I owe Rachel big.

This project is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S

Rachel finished her science project and we felt that it should be noted because it was a substantial part of our whole family's life.  We were finding how to preserve bananas the best and found out it's not about where the banana is, it's about how we abuse our bananas.  Rachel did a great job and advanced to district.

Lily and Whitney

Lily has always been a great helper and protector for Whitney.  This has made my time when the older kids are at school so nice.  For some reason Lily had it out for Hannah since about 9 months and made that time hard for me so this Lily's and Whitney's relationship is that much sweeter.

Joe and Lily's Birthday

Lily's Birthday Breakfast is below.  Her new bean bag chair that I made is on the left.  I made it out of Lily's baby receiving blankets.  Joe chose to play basketball instead of having breakfast in bed:).

Christmas

Christmas happened.  We took some video, but apparently no pictures.  Whoops.  Here's Christmas Eve with our friends.  They did, "A Night in Bethlehem" and re-enacted the Nativity.

Just found one picture!
