Lily Grew Up

Lily turned 2 and decided to grow up.  She learned how to crawl out of her crib (bitter sweet, mostly bitter.)  Her vocabulary took off and now she likes to cuddle.  I've been a little strung out lately and having a cuddly baby is the perfect cure.

(Pictures by Deanna Baker.  She did a great job!)

Skaters aint Haters

We have another aspiring rollerskater in the family.  We are one hip family.  We're going to get some spandex and short shorts and hit the rink!

New Years Guests

Laura and Jay and family came for New Years and Laura's Birthday.  These are the traditional New Years Bell Tower.

 Rachel and Joe's Tower

Hannah and Mom's tour. We at least won for the tallest tower.

 Jay and Thomas made something...

Lincoln's tower was an angry bird wreckage scene.

 Best Pattern Tower

Best Tasting Tower...or we assume so

Laura turned 27 while she was here.  We did the usual...pin the present on the picture, pinata, etc.

Boredom Cure

The kids got bath toys with their Grandparent Christmas money so our boredom cure was hanging out in the bath tub during Christmas break.

Another Double Birthday

This year we celebrated Joe's birthday on Saturday and Lily's on Sunday.
Special breakfast after letting Joe play basketball.

Lily's cake.  We made a mint cake since Lily's favorite flavor is tooth paste:).

The Birthday Date
We went on a date for on the 27th and brought Lily with us since we couldn't leave her on her birthday...and because she had a cold and the Bakers were watching the kids with a new baby.
The place we ate was really nice and had life jelly fish in the middle of the restaurant.

Christmas 2014

I actually did teacher presents and I did them way ahead of time...pretty good for me.  What's nice about this is these are left over Super Saturday crafts my friend gave to me that I just had to finish...for free!  I love free!

Christmas Tree decorating

The Nativity

I'm not sure what Lily was supposed to be but she was pretty cute

Rachel and Hannah loved to make costumes out of surplus fabric.

 Dale the proud Donkey:)

Rachel was Mary and Lincoln was Joseph.  New cousin Isaac was the perfect baby Jesus.  What a legit nativity:).

The whole cast

I didn't take any pictures Christmas day but I loved it.  We opened simple presents and then did a service project for our neighbor in the hospital.  I love doing service on Christmas to serve God.  We also had a Christmas devotional I did that night where we talked about following the star to the Savior and what our "star" is.  I made the kids a little nativity ornament.

Hannah the Dancer

Hannah on her first day of dance.  It's a fun program offered through the city.  Her little friend is in the class too.
Hannah's Dress Rehersal

Hannah on the day of the big performance.  She danced to, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause."  Hannah is very expressive and good on stage.  She was fun to watch.
