Halloween 2014

 Carving the pumpkin

One of the outfits that Lily wore, for 2 second.  Always funny though.
I made Rachel, Lincoln, and Hannah's costume.  I was pretty proud of myself.  Rachel's Anna costume top I made from an inside out shirt and I hand embroidered the design.  I modified Hannah's costume and changed some beads around.  Lincoln's Ash Ketchum costume I made from scrap materials.  Fancy.

Kids at Keeneland

We love this free kids program they do at the Kenneland race track during race season.

The girls' favorite thing is to have their faces painted.

Hiking with Friends 10/14

We went to the Red River Gorge with some friends, the Ashtons.  It was a beautiful hike and we all made it!

Good-bye Old Friend

This is my trusty old stroller.  I got it right after Lincoln was born and have put many, many miles on it.  It has been my sanity...until Lily's recent hair pulling, biting, and hitting phase.  She has been torturing Hannah during the run, making it miserable for all.  Because of this I had to say good-bye to my old friend and say hello...

to my new best friend.  This stroller has more of a separator and the separate hoods act as a shield for Hannah.  Woo Hoo!!!!

Neigh!

Lily loves horses.  I have the most beautiful running route that just Lily and I went on today because Hannah was at dance.  Lily yelled at the horses to come to her so she could pet them.  When they came and let her, she yelled at them to get away.

A Lily Style Breakfast

I call Lily's morning breakfast routine, "The Feed."  She gets very excited by breakfast and likes to have it all laid out in front of her.  It's a little tricky making the big kids' lunches for school because I have to open the fridge and block the contents with one leg to prevent Lily from going crazy.  This day she chose yogurt, oatmeal, and poppy seed chicken and rice for breakfast.

Lockheed Family Fun Night

We love Joe's work's Family Nun Night.  They have fun bounce houses, bungee trampoline things, zip lines, rock wall, food and snacks.  I think the most exciting part for cheap skates like us is that it's all free!  They also had fireworks at the end.  Firework in the fall are awesome because they are at 8pm instead of 10pm in the summer.  I can handle that.
Hannah climbed the rock wall, but her favorite thing was the zip line.  She's brave.

Hannah in the sack race.  She actually won! She got a pink soccer ball.
