I Heart Valentine's Day

We had our traditional romantic Valentine's Day heart shaped pizza to start the night off right.
ps- If you look close you will see that Rachel's hair was french braided in the shape of a heart.  I got a little fancy this morning.

Later we opened some little presents and Joe and Hannah's were aprons I made.  Hannah was pretty excited.  An apron isn't something a girl should have to share.  And doesn't Joe look handsome?  I didn't want him to feel left out:). 
We commemorated the new aprons by making Valentine's Cookies.

The Date Swap

We've joined this awesome date/babysitting swap.  We're too cheap to do baby-sitters every week.  Plus it keeps our kids pretty entertained.  In case you're counting...that's a lot of kids.  It's amazing to think my cousin has almost this many kids all of the time.  She wins the award.

Sunday Play Time

We're not sure why, but our kids love to get on their swimming suits and pretend like they're going to the pool.  Hannah even got in on the action today.  She was self conscious about her legs:)

Kissing Booth

This was at our stake adult Valentine's Day dance's photo booth. We went safe with the cheek kisses.  We didn't want to gross anyone out with old people kissing:)

Dreams do come true!

Rachel has been dying to take ballet and she finally started at the beginning of January.  She's all business during the class and doesn't look happy in these pictures but she really does love it. 

Danielson Right of Passage

Hannah is finally old enough to help in a tradition in our household: making cookies once a week.  It's really cute.  She gets so excited when she puts on an apron.  I have the kids tap the measuring cup and say, "bop, bop, bop," when putting in ingredients and Hannah will do that now.  She'll also do the twist dance that we do when we turn the mixer on and eats way too much cookie dough.  I knew she was one of us:).

My Mom Came!

My mom came for a short trip to help me speed decorate!  My friend Stacie gave me a lot of the ideas and my mom helped me do the finishing touches.  I realize that decorating might not be that awesome to some so I put in my models:)

My mom also helped me finish making bed skirts for Rachel's room that we started at Christmas.  I still have to figure out what to do with her room.
