Lily and Whitney
Lily has always been a great helper and protector for Whitney. This has made my time when the older kids are at school so nice. For some reason Lily had it out for Hannah since about 9 months and made that time hard for me so this Lily's and Whitney's relationship is that much sweeter.

Joe and Lily's Birthday
Lily's Birthday Breakfast is below. Her new bean bag chair that I made is on the left. I made it out of Lily's baby receiving blankets. Joe chose to play basketball instead of having breakfast in bed:).
Christmas
Christmas happened. We took some video, but apparently no pictures. Whoops. Here's Christmas Eve with our friends. They did, "A Night in Bethlehem" and re-enacted the Nativity.
Just found one picture!
Christmas Projects
This was my Christmas project. Joe was nice to watch the kids while I finished the tree skirt. It took too much time, which made me not like it as much...but it's done! I also completed a crazy amount of projects for the kids-bean bag chairs, fancy clip boards...
Also, you'll noticed behind me the hand embroidered stockings. I drew the names and Rachel did the stitching. I'm trying to figure out how to get Rachel to do my mending now.
Lily's Birthday Party
Lily has been obsessed with her birthday for a year. She's asked me for that long to talk about her birthday. When she sees something she really wants but knows she can't have, she asks if she can have it for her birthday, many times a day, every day. Here's how the Dora birthday party went. Above are all the things we made: the map, cups that look like back back, the map pinata, and back pack party favor bags.
The Adventure:
I was Dora and Joe was Swiper. Joe stole the party presents, locked them in a room, and threw away the key. We had to ask Map where to go to find the key. These are the places we had to go.
The first stop on our adventure was pin the tail on Swiper.
Next was Don't Eat the Key(Pete)
Last was the Pinata that had the key in it.
Home made Dora cake.
I think Lily liked the party. She's already asking about next year:).
Breakfast With Buckles
We went to the yearly Breakfast with Buckles, Holiday Party at Keeneland. It's pretty awesome. We have the drill down. We skip Santa, go straight to face painting to be first in line, ride the ponies, and then gradually do the rest of the other stuff. Good times.
