Hannah's Hair Cut

Hannah was sick of brushing her hair and begged to have it cut short.  Bad short hair cuts are harder to hide so I went to our local professional, Deanna.  I should have gotten an after picture...I just have to have her sit still long enough to take it.

More Free Library Fun

There was a fun science guy at the library.  It was free so we were there.  All 3 kids got called to participate.  You can play a fun game of Where's the Danielson kids with these pictures.

This girl...

We were just at a Lexington Legends minor league baseball game.  Hannah made friends with one of the workers there and got a promo gift as well as some big screen time (You can kind of see her on the big screen in the background.)  Hannah is very friendly and makes friends with anyone.

Hannah says funny things that I want to record.  Hannah is just zesty, spontaneous and happy.

Her career pursuits started out with her wanting to be big bird.  She has changed her goals and now tells everyone she wants to be an ice cream truck driver.  Her plan is to drive around to where ever we all live and sell us ice cream.  We asked her if she wants to have kids and she said no.  She's a career oriented woman:).  We told her, her kids could help with the ice cream truck so she thought she could work in motherhood to her career.

Her prayers are very sincere and in her own language.  She thanks God for, "You, all the things that make us alive, all the good people in the world except the bad people," and many other fun phrases I've forgotten.  When we told her bad people just need to learn more about Jesus, she corrected her prayer to say, "Please bless all the bad people to be like Jesus."

I can't remember if I put earlier how Hannah was doing a chore of wiping the cupboards and I started singing, "She Works Hard for her Money."  Hannah said, "Keep singing that and I'll sing too."  Hannah free styled filling in the pauses.
M: She works hard for her money.
H: Oh yes she does!
M: So hard for it honey.
H: And listen to your mommy....

Play Room

The kids are just happier when I"m in the play room with them, sitting/laying on the ground.  Selfies are one of their favorite things.

Summer Fun

Don't be fooled, we didn't go to the moon...we went to the library!  Free library programs are right up our alley.

  I'm the coordinator for playgroup so we try to go every week.  The park for this playgroup had this great invention.  You can push your baby while sitting down.  Genius!  There have been so many hours of pushing babies where I've often thought, "I need a chair."

Besties

Not really.  This is the challenge of our summer.  An antagonizer and a drama queen tend to have negative friction.  We're getting there though.  Don't these two look happy:).

He's 8!

Lincoln turned 8!  More pictures to come at his baptism, but these are some of the pictures from his 8 year old photo shoot that Deanna did.  She did a good job!
