He's 8!

Lincoln turned 8!  More pictures to come at his baptism, but these are some of the pictures from his 8 year old photo shoot that Deanna did.  She did a good job!

Here's the photographer's assistants.  Hannah was showing Lincoln how to wear his ties since he wasn't very excited about it.

Sharks on the Run

We did the school's PTA run and Rachel got second for her age group!  I ran with Rachel this year and pushed Whitney.  It rained again this year and I was grateful for the stroller cover and a very good baby!

Activity Days

Rachel's new activity days leader is pretty awesome.  She threw a nice Derby party and let Hannah and Lily join in because they were just there waiting.  Rachel invites her school friend to go, which is a lot of fun.

Mother's Day

Here's my Mother's Day breakfast in bed.  It's hard to have a relaxing day when you have 5 kids, but my real break came a couple of weeks later when Joe took off work.  He took Lily with him and I did all the things I wanted to get done quickly.  I also went to the bathroom all by myself, without Lily, and took my sweet time.  It's the little things:).

Preschool Advancement

Lily loved preschool...and so did I!  Here she is at the preschool graduation and advancement program on the far left.

Most of the families that attend this preschool of another faith are LDS.  It's always fun to go to these gathering and have stake activities:).

Spring Sports

This Spring Lincoln and Hannah did sports.  It was busy!
Lincoln is really good at hitting.  He hits it almost every time he's up to bat.  I think it's because he's not nervous at all going to bat because the most important part of any game is the snack.

I wasn't sure how Hannah would do with soccer, but she wowed me.  She was really good!  She had a really good touch on the ball and stayed focused and aggressive.  It also helped that she was a head taller than most of the kids.
