Spring Stay Cation

We didn't go anywhere for spring break so I tried to make it fun for the kids.  We used old coupons for free kids meals and I actually took them to a sit down ordering place by myself.  This was scary because of past experiences, but they actually did a good job.  Lily ate whatever food the other kids wouldn't:).

The Explorium: We tried it for the first time and the kids liked it.

Lily found this dog at the vet station and had a hard time letting it go.

Lincoln's Birth Place
We were going to go to Dinosaur World but because of the rain, we stopped half of the way there and went to Lincoln's Birth Place Historical Sight.  The kids are now bonified junior rangers, badges included.

This is a memorial to Lincoln.  There are 53 steps for his 53 years of life.  The kids counted and recounted the steps making sure they got it right.

St. Patrick's Day

I think this is the first year I actually tried on St. Patricks Day.  Besides making green things for dinner, we actually hunted for a pot of gold.  This is big for me.

Skating Party

Rachel had a skating party so we let Lincoln and Hannah go skate at the same time.  Hannah did a really good job and was able to go around by herself for the first time.

A Lot of Snow!

It snowed 14 inches yesterday!  The drifts on the door went up at least 3 feet. As shown above, Rachel is the most hard core with the snow.  Lily went out for a little bit and I was proud of my 4th child picture documentation above:).

Green Green Smoothies

Like a fool I've been putting raspberries in our green smoothies to hide the color and giving our smoothies awesome names.  I forgot that my kids have 6 year old humor.  I made a diarrhea smoothy and they loved it and drank it happily:).

Lily doesn't take convincing to eat anything.  So I guess this picture shows Lily's hair after I cut off the Sound of Music Haircut.  It's still cute...but I don't know about this picture.

Lily's Hair Cut

I was trying to cut off Lily's mullet and ended up giving her a "Sound of Music" Fraulein Maria hair cut.  I went a little bit short and stacked the back and I think it ended up looking ok.  These pictures are from a Thank you card I made for our surrogate grandpa who fixed Lily's doll high chair.

Our Photographer

Hannah likes to take pictures on my phone.

I found that she was completely documented our JCP.com  towel purchase.

On the jcp.com looking for towels.

Waiting...for an hour...in the kitchen section with many breakable things and the destroyer Lily.

The manager who was trying to find our lost items for a long time.  There were many more pictures but we'll just leave it at that.  Meanwhile, I got my towels and they look great:).
