Kitchen Skating

This is how Rachel and Lincoln have spent a lot of their snow day.  Kitchen skating.  We only have one pair of skates so Rachel lets Lincoln have one skate and she gets the other.  Surprisingly they're very content with just one skate.  Hannah just likes to be in pictures.

Valentine's Day

Rachel and the kids were very excited about Valentine's Day so we tried to make it special.  This is what we came up with.

 We heart attacked all the kids door and gave them Valentine's with assorted filled chocolates. (They were excited by the idea but only liked one of the chocolates.   Isn't that part of Valentine's Day?)

 I did a special Valentine's Day hair-do for Rachel. (That's a heart in her hair)

 Nothing says love like heart pizzas.

 Special pink plates for dinner.

I love this thing!

This wonderful swing is why we get any sleep at night and why I can sometimes get stuff done during the day.  What a blessing!

Because every kid has this picture...

I love seeing Joe and the kids sleep together.  I have a picture with every new baby sleeping with Joe and when they took their Sunday nap together two days ago I couldn't resist.

First Bath

Don't worry...Lily took her first bath long ago...We're just finally getting to documenting it.  Now that I think about it..why is the first bath such a big deal to me?  Lily didn't appreciate it for sure.

Joe's Birthday

Poor Joe always risks his birthday being lost in the Christmas season but this year he also had to compete with an addition to our family.  Lily was born just 14 minutes into Joe's birthday.  This birthday was probably the most unique birthday he's had at least.

My family was nice to make him a birthday breakfast that he went back home for.  They also brought dinner and his birthday pie to the hospital.
